Kingston, Rhode Island
Built in 1775 as the Kings (now Washington) County Court
House. Sessions of the General Assembly held here
periodically until 1854 and of the County Courts until
the 1890s; since then the home of the Kingston Free
Library. Mansard roof and stair tower added in 1876.
