| The "Sky City" of Acoma is located in a beautiful valley 7,000 feet above the sea, upon the top of a mesa which itself is 357 feet above the floor of the valley. The pueblo is really three giant buildings running east and west a thousand feet and rising forty feet high. Each building is several hundred feet long but cut by cross walls into separate little homes. |
