SALTON SEA STATE PARK

Relaxing on the shores of this great inland sea where close to
2 million dollars has been spent to make this State Park one
of the finest recreational areas in the West. This sea was formed
in 1907 when the Colorado River jumped its banks and threatened
to wipe out the entire Imperial Valley.
