THE HOUSE OF THE FOUR WINDS This rambling old structure was the first in this community to boast of a weather vane. From this fact, and that also its roof slopes fours ways, it received the above name. It was built i by Thomas 0. Larkin in 1834 and was the first Hall of Records of the state. B. W.
