THE THEME CENTER — TRYLON AND PERISPHERE
The most absolutely unique buildings at the Fair are the
Trylon and Perisphere, the Theme Center.* The Perisphere
is a 200 ft. ball, the largest ever created by mankind. In-
side the sphere the visitor will view from a revolving plat-
form suspended in mid-air, a dramatization of the World of
Tomorrow. The 700-foot triangular Trylon at the left will
serve as a beacon for the Fair. Harrison & Fouilhoux are
the architects.
