The Pageant and Masque of St. Louis
In the Pageant you will see live again the
wonderful history of the city - the Mound-
builders, the Indians, the explorers-DeSoto,
Marquette, LaSalle; the founders and early
settlers of the French and Spanish Regime;
the pioneers and builders of the city's great-
ness. They will all appear in a great drama,
to be enacted by five thousand people.
In the Masque you will see all the forces
in the city, past, present and to come, symbol-
ically and prophetically interpreted.
