The magnificent Mikimoto pearl pagoda was inspired by the
ancient Horvuji Temple in Nara which was erected over
one thousand years ago. Its base is made of imperial lacquer
fastened with handwrought silver mounting. The five stories
of the pagoda are fashioned of platinum and solid silver.
Thousands of Mikimoto pearls were used to complete this
object d' art.
