First established as Georgetown on July 31, 1884,
it was changed to Lincoln on January 13, 1885. Lo-
cated on U. S. Highway 62, in Washington County,
Northwest Arkansas, Lincoln is the center of a
concentrated broiler producing area in the beauti-
ful Ozarks. Surrounded by fertile farms which pro-
duce great quantities of beef, milk and fruit. Popu-
lation 876.
