NORTON AIR FORCE BASE
San Bernardino, California
One of the few bases in the nation where 60% of the repair
work can be done outdoors the year around. Snow capped
San Bernardino Mts. (El. 10,666 ft.) and San Gorgonio
(El. 11,485 ft.) are visible in the distance. This base covers
1,762 acres and employs 10,000 civilians and 2600 military
personnel.
