Ten Sleep Inn is located in a fertile irrigated
valley at the foot of the west slope of the Big
Horn Mountains, near entrance to Ten Sleep
Canyon. This is one of the most beautiful
and picturesque canyons in the United States.
The name Ten Sleep is of Indian origin; it
was so called by the red men of early days
between the Shoshones and Crows, this place
was ten sleeps from each reservation-their
way of reckoning time.
The Ten Sleep Inn has many clean, cool
modern cottages at reasonable prices. Some
with cooking privileges. Also a Laundry for
guests. There are some rooms in the Inn
which has a fully equipped Kitchen and Din-
ing room which is famous for its family style
meals. It has long been listed with Duncan
Hines. The Management is Co-operative and
friendly, anxious to make your stay with us
very pleasant. We are conveniently located
in the center of Town with stores and restau-
rants across the street and on either side of us.
We are located on a fine trout stream, close
to many points of interest such as the Indian
Pow Wow grounds, Castle Gardens and the
honeycombs and many Fine Lakes which
abound in Mt. Trout Fish. We have a cool
restful place with 35-beds. Also a Jade and
Agate store in connection.
