It had been a family vacation as our 2nd home
The Biddles and the Sefchicks.For 2 trips every year usually May and September we came home to this GEM that always brought us peace and deeper love to everyone of the staff. Coming to the Surf brought our children to seeing the kids going their own way but Frannie and David with Connie and Frank still came home. Yes some may call the Surf needing some updates. Well each of our bodies needed some updates after 40+ years and our 200 mile drive to come home to the Surf Motel. We were there during storms and hurricanes and the staff took us to higher ground.
When David’s friend from preschool and Harvard we were treated with a deep sea fishing trip with David’s friend Fred Gwinn came with us for at least 2-3 trips. Fred loved the Surf and that crazy but exciting trip on the fishing boat meaning awesome yacht. I loved the adventure of 6-7 foot swells attacked by this awesome fishing boat.
Thank you Surf from now possibly close to 50 years.
