British Borneo Timber Co. praises
WASHINGTON TRAKLOADERS
Delivered in 1958, the Model TL-15 Washington Trakloader
shown on the reverse has seen almost continuous use in yarding
and loading under tropical conditions. In spite of adverse climate
and limited shop facilities, the company reports that the TL-15
has "given every satisfaction, with virtually no down time or
trouble with the machine."
In this scene, the TL-15 is doing temporary duty off-loading
at the saltwater pier near Lahad Dato, North Borneo, where logs
are rafted out to cargo vessels for export.
British Borneo Timber Co., Ltd. took delivery in April 1963
of a second Washington Trakloader, a Model TL-6, also crawler-
mounted.
