Is symbolized by a water tower stationed at the entrance. Water was pumped from Little Potato Slough into the tower for cleaning and processing island vegetables in one large warehouse. The produce was transported by 20,000 freight cars annually to canneries and markets. Fires partially destroyed the warehouse, leaving three separate warehouses. This boxcar city behond the levee started at Terminous in 1927, by Western Pacific Railroad. Rail service disappeared in 1961, when Western Pacific was replaced by modern machinery and trucks. The area was neary vacant until 1968, when it was purchased and converted into a marina. A recreational vehicle park with 200 camp sites and hook ups is scheduled for completion
