The famous Rockville Bridge of the Pennsylvania Railroad can be seen from the front porch of the Fort Hunter Hotel. This modernized hotel is located in the area of Hunters Mill (1720). This mill later became known as Fort Hunter (1735), and was second in importance to Fort Harris (Harrisburg) against Indian uprisings. (Penna.
