| The precision marching of the West Point Cadet is world famous. Drills and ceremonies take place almost daily from early May to early October, except during the summer. Each Saturday a formal inspection in ranks is held, Close order drill, while no longer of practical use on the battlefield, teaches leadership and coordination of mind and body. |
