Hotel Pierre FIFTH AVENUE AT 61st STREET, NEW YORK The murals in the Foyer of the PIERRE GRILL, by Edgar Miller, an American Artist, depict four Thanksgivings--The Feast of Montezuma, The Pilgrim's Thanksgiving, at the Governor's Palace in Willimsburg and Mealtime in Valley Forge. These murals and the coordinated columns in the Grill, which illustrate the history of food through the ages, make a distinctive background for this fascinating room known for the ultimate in fine foods. Mr. Miller covered each canvas with vermillion red leafed with gold, silver, aluminum and bronze and his work was entirely spontaneous as he did not formulate his ideas from sketches or notes
