ALBANY—The trading and industrial center of Southwest
Georgia, also is a mecca for sportsmen. Radium Springs,
a famous resort, is located in Albany. This spring flows
70,000 gallons of pure sparkling water per minute and
has a constant year-round temperature of 68º. An 18-
hole golf course is located at Radium as well as an ex-
cellent lodge and cottages where accommodations at rea-
sonable rates may be had and a casino at which excel-
lent meals are served. Radium Springs is South Georgia's
Sportsmen's headquarters.
