Additional Details:
The first homestead of William Harlow, was built by him in 1653. The first William Harlow house is now known as the Kendall Holmes house and derives its name from the last family who resided there for nearly a century. Today, as in the past, it remains a home by the side of the lane that leads from the Kings Highway (now Sandwich Street) to the harbor that welcomed the Mayflower with its brave band of Pilgrims
