COPP'S HILL BURYING GROUND NEAR OLD
NORTH CHURCH, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
In 1660, the colonists began to use this hill for
a burying ground. Here lie the bodies of Rev.
Cotton Mather, Edmund Hartt, builder of the
frigate Constitution, and Robert Newman, who
hung the lanterns at the Old North Church.
