PINEAPPLE GROVE. The pineapple, Which is grown
in all portions of southern Florida, is planted from the shoots
taken from the matured fruit. About 12,000 can be planted
on one acre, which will produce from 6,000 to 10,000 pineapples.
They require little care, but cannot endure cold and must be
protected from frost.
