The Indiana Bearcat, or "Giant Killer," as he was known, was without doubt one of the best men of his weight in America. Jack was a middleweight, but met all comers, whether 160 or 200 pounders or over. His defeat of many big heavyweights gave him the name of "Giant Killer." He was born February 2, 1891 , at Frankfort, Indiana. Height, 5 feet 7 1/2 inches; weight, 160 to 165 pounds; color, white. He tried to fight the past year, but was declared to be not physically fit by the New York Commission
