WOLD-CHAMBERLAIN FIELD
This 3,000 acre airport is one of six airports
owned and operated by the Minneapolis-Saint Paul
Metropolitan Airports Commission. Seven airlines
carried over 2,000,000 arriving and departing
passengers in 1963. A new public passenger
terminal building, opened in January 1962, is
designed to serve more than 4,000,000 passengers
anticipated in 1975.
