Missoula, Montana, just off Interstate 90. Photo re-
veals lower lodge at 5000 ft., lower terminal of
5500 ft. double chairlift and beginning of 1900 ft.
Pomalift at lower left. An upper lodge, Spartan
and Grizzly runs, five electric rope tows, 600 acres
of variable terrain, and miles of trails make this an
alluring bowl (most of these allurements are not
viewed at lower lodge). The 2600 ft. vertical drop
of the chairlift is greatest in the Northwest.
