MAMMOTH SITE OF HOT SPRINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA
A Mammoth Skull with tusks attached was the major
find of the 1975 field season. The deposit of sand,
silt and clay represents a sinkhole fill containing the
remains of at least nine Mammoth plus other fauna.
