Blockade Of Boats
Additional Details:
This large fleet of steamers were held in Mud Lake by the anchor ice, during the spring of 1907, and were released by tugs, all of them arriving at the "So" about the same time. This crowded the capacity of the locks to such an extent that the fleet had to tie up at the lower piers and await their turn to lock through in such a case, the need of a third lock, now under construction, is keenly in evidence |
