Series P-15 On the summit of Mt. Wilson, in the Sierra Madre Mountains, 6,000 feet above sea level, are the tall television towers for the various networks in Southern California. From this ideal vantage point programs are transmitted to all parts of the country. A fine hotel and cottages for visitors are located at this scenic spot about 32 miles from Los Angeles and 20 miles from Pasadena, and reached via the scenic Angeles Crest Highway. |
