This picture shows some of the masonry of the great Roosevelt Dam, and the graceful three-arched bridge over the spillways, as you look down upon them from the ""Apache Trail."" The driveway across the crest of the dam is 1,125 feet in length and 16 feet wide. The height of the dam from the bed of the Salt River is 284 feet. The area of the reservoir is 16,320 acres, and its water irrigates 230,000 acres in the Salt River Valley.
