Series GW 80-A Connecting San Pedro with Terminal Island and Long Beach, this is Southern California's first major suspension bridge. It was named in honor of Mr. Vincent Thomas, Long-time San Pedro resident who, working as a state Assemblyman, was chiefly responsible for getting the 6,060 foot bridge built. |
