| Shown here is the Medical Center's Northern Division, a general hospital with more than 600 beds at York and Tabor roads. The Northern Division was founded in 1865 as the Jewish Hospital of Philadelphia. The Medical Center was formed in 1952 by the merger of three hospitals. Some 20,000 patients are admitted to the Northern Division each year. |
