Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. A major visitor service area and access to the lake is at Horseshoe Bend near Lovell, Wyoming. Services are provided for visitors and boats. Year-round recreational activities are available in this area. Boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, boat-in campground's waterfowl upland bird and deer hunting in spring, summer and fall and ice-fishing in the winter. It is also near the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Rage. The brick-red and tan cliffs of Sykes Mountain are seen in the distance. |
