Located at the foot of McKinley Monument at 749 Hazlet, Avenue in N. W. Canton. Included in the Center is the Historical Museum, Hoover-Price Planetarium, Hall of Science and Industry and Health Education Center. Artifacts from the early life of Canton are in abundance with one room devoted to William McKinley, 25th President of the U. S. A., which features a large photomural of the President taken during one of his famous "front porch" speeches when he campaigned for President. Delegations from all over journeyed to Canton to hear his oratory - something now gotten by sight and sound in your own home via TV. |
