| At the confluence of the Monongahela, Allegheny and Ohio rivers and adjacent to the Gateway Center, you will find historic point State Park. This is the birthplace of Pittsburgh. It was here in 1758 that the British, French and Colonial Troops fought for this prized land. The Block House, the small building to the right, is all that remains of the once formidable Fort Pitt. |
