| This unusual formation is found in the center of the Big Room. The Big Room is the most majestic of the Caverns many chambers. The trail around it is one and a quarter miles and encompasses a floor space of 14 acres. At one place the ceiling arches 285 feet above the trail. The beautiful formations here range in structure from delicate to massive, some resemble needles and others huge chandeliers. |
