HORN CHAIR
During President Benjamin
Harrison's famous trip across the United States
he received this beautiful steer-horn chair from
a Mr. O'Connor of Texas. The engraved plaques
on the chair refer to historical events and one
spells out the President's name in small chipped
diamonds. The gold headed cane dated July 4,
1888 was a gift from the Irish Protectionists of
Highland, Wisconsin. On Display at the President
Benjamin Harrison Home, 1230 North Delaware
Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
