Charter was issued in 1855 with Robert Crooks as the first Worshipful Master. Lodge hall and records were destroyed by fire. Present building built 1875. Originally 3 stories. Later, top story was removed.

Parke County 1461 - 04 Bridgeton Bridge, built 1868 over Big Raccoon Creek. 2-span Burr Arch 245 feet. First water powered mill built in 1823, second 1835-36, present mill in 1868-70, using stone burrs and complete rolling mills for flour. Now electric powered feed mill operated by Wise Milling Company.
