Tallapoosa County Court House, Dadeville, Alabama, built in 1960 replacing the original 1861 building. This handsome modern structure reflects the progressive spirit of this historic county's many natural resources such as scenic beauty, abundance of water, affording all water sports and a good climate in which to live.

This covered bridge, now torn down, was at Horseshoe Bend, east of Alexander City. Ala. Horseshoe Bend National Military park includes the area where the bridge stood. World Guide to Covered Bridges lists the following information: bridge no. 62-01, built of Town type truss over the Tallapoosa River, 600 ft. long, had 4 spans and was located on Ala. highway 49.
