Description:
The Medbery Hotel was built in 1804 and at that time it was called the Village Hotel. Stephen B. Medbery became the proprietor in 1849. The Medbery remains as one of the oldest buildings in the village. In 1975 it was used in one of the scenes fro the movie. "The Way We Were" Thos photo was taken in 1907.

Originally the palatial home of Robert P. McMaster and later the home of financeer Andrew W. Smith and the Saratoga County Court House as viewed from Bath Street (circa 1915). Both structures were demolished by direction of the County Board of Supervisors to make way for parking lots
