Description:
The first church was built in 1721, and the present building in 1854. Old graves in the churchyard are of historical interest and include the tomb of Capt. James Drew, who drowned when the Treasure Sloop, De-Braak, floundered off Cape Henlopen in 1798.

The first church was built in 1721, and the present building in 1854. Old graves in the churchyard are of historical interest and include the tomb of Capt James Drew, of the Treasure Sloop De Braak, who drowned when the ship floundered off Cape Henlopen in 1798.

Built by the State of Delaware in 1931 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the settlement made here by the Dutch. The façade of this building is copied from the ancient Town Hall at Hoorn, Holland, where the settlers sailed from in 1631.
