Title: Buffalo Grazing The Big Open Linen unused Description: White hunters, Indians and wolves wiped out the great herds of buffalo, which roamed the ranges before and during the time the Northern Pacific Railway was building. A few survivors were brought to Yellowstone Park for protection; others to the U. S. Biological l ranch in western Montana. Today a thousand buffalo thunder over the hills of these two reserves and the herd are rapidly multiplying. The American bison is saved.
