The airship hangar at Scott Field is 910 ft. long, 200 ft. wide, and 185 ft. high, and is one of the largest structures of its kind in the world. An army of 100,000 men could stand within the hanger proper. The building covers 5 acres and cost $1,500,000. Scott Field comprises 619 acres and is the largest airship port in America.
