This is it! Sure It's in Texas. Eighter from Decatur County seat of wise. Unique Highway Sign. Chamber of Commerce project. Decatur, Texas. Some are Cater's, some are eighter's, Some roll sevens - some roll snake-eyes, But, I'm an Eighter form Decatur, The county seat of Wise.

Wise County Courthouse. Downtown Public square. Decatur, Texas. Built in 1895 at a cost of $111,000 is now debt free. J. riley Gordon of San Antonio was the Architect. The clock with bells weighs 2,000 pounds, The beautiful pink granite was hauled here form Burnet, Texas.

This building took several years to build and was completed in 1895. The stone was precut and each piece numbered and shipped form Burnet County. The stones were raised by a windlass pulled by donkeys waking in a circle drawing the rope tight. The building is constructed of the same granite used in the Texas state capitol
