Surmounted by a magnificent copper dome, crested with a statue of Liberty, the State Capitol of Montana is located in Helena. Costing approximately $1,200,000.00 to complete, the Capitol Building was dedicated in 1902. The central portion is made of Montana sand stone and the adjacent wings are of native granite. Provided with a naturally beautiful site, the mountains rising magnificently in the distance, silently portray the soundness and security upon which the government of Montana is founded.

Description:
The Cathedral of Saint Helena, with twin gothic spires rising 230 feet above the ground, overlooks the city of Helena, Montana. Its cornerstone was laid in 1908. It is a smaller reproduction of the famous cathedral of Cologne in Europe. Inside the church is an altar of Carrara Marble and Cathedral's stained glass windows were made by the world-renowned firm in Bavaria.
