The Commons, the new dining hall at Fort Wright College, Spokane, Washington, is situated on the edge of a bluff commanding a sweeping view of the river and the city through its western wall of windows and from the patio. It features a folding wall which can divide its 500 seating capacity in half, guest and faculty dining areas. Within the curving wall of windows is a beautifully appointed lounge furnished by the Alumnae in the College colors, purple and gold.
