Title: Elks Club Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Post Card (Undivided Back) PM 1907 Jan-18		Title: United States Post Office Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen unused Description: New U. s. Post Office Cost approximately $325,000. Building opened (Friday) November 13, 1931. Houses the Treasury Dept. and Internal Revenue Dept, Located at 4th and Juliana Sts., facing Juliana.

Title: The First Presbyterian Church Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Chrome unused Description: Harold E. Wagoner, Architect Construction started December 1959.		Title: First Presbyterian Church Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen unused Description: First Presbyterian Church organized Feb. 23, 1832. Building completed 1894. Parish 1928. Value $150,000. Membership 1,500.

Title: First Lutheran Church Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen PM 1951 Description: The First Lutheran congregation originated from the former St. John's Evangelical (present) Church. The original St. John's was organized June 6, 1893, dedicating this building October 9, 1927. Present First Lutheran Church reorganized Jan. 17, 1934. Member ship 400.		Title: First Methodist Church Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen unused Description: The First Methodist Church was organized in 1790. Land purchased November 7, 1904. Building started October 29, 1909. Cornerstone laid November 28, 1909 and church dedicated January 27, 1911. Both exterior and interior architectural style follows closely the Gothic. The glory of the sanctuary is a massive dome in the center with art-glass windows and towers, seating 850.


Title: St. Francis Xavier's Catholic Church Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen unused Description: Land purchased April 26, 1847 for $306. Building when completed cost approximately $80,000. Cornerstone laid May 9, 1869. Contents several medals, silver coins, one of 1776, one greenback, one "grayback," a small silver crucifix and publications. Church older than State of West Virginia.		Title: Parkersburg-Belpre Bridge Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen unused Description: "Crossing the Beautiful Ohio" The Parkersburg-Belpre Bridge on U. S. 50, and near Ohio 7 was built in 1915. Is if suspension type, four spans of 800 ft., 300 ft., 400 ft., and 200 ft., respectively. Roadway is 25 food width, with a 5 foot sidewalk. Purchased by the State of W. Va. on June 17, 1937 for the sum of $1,088,000.

Established in 1811, located on the beautiful Ohio River. South of the Mason Dixon Line, it is neither Northern or Southern in customs or climate. Blennerhassett Island, near Parkersburg, is well known because Aaron Burr visited here after his duel with Alexander Hamilton.		Title: Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Parkersburg West Virginia (WV), Linen unused Description: "Anne Camden Memorial and Dr. Clark annex" acquired by donation of Senator Camden and heirs. Accepted by city October 19, 1918. 148 bed capacity furnished by private citizens, clubs, lodges, etc. approved by American College of Surgeons and American Hospital Association for training interns.
