Drinking Poem, Bartender

Description:
So What? The horse and cow live thirty years, They never touch light wine or beers. Sheep and goats are dead at twenty, They drink no liquor-water plenty. At ten the cat has lost nine lives, On milk and water no beast thrives. At five the birds are mostly dead, They look not on the wine that's red. Bugs a few days remain on earth, They do not know the cocktail's worth. But awful, wicked, rum-soaked men Live on for three score years and ten

You wicked old Scamp, will you never be good, and behave in the way that a decent man should. The years o'er your head in such number have flown, it must surely be time that your wild oat's were sown. And one would suppose that a spell of propriety would you if only for sake of variety. I should like to reform you, and lead you to mend, but I fear you will stick to your sins to the end.

Soused Again - Poem
Title:
Soused Again - Poem
unused

Description:
A gilded mirror, a polished bar, With myriads of glasses and straws in a jar, A kind faced young man all dressed in white Was my recollection of last night. The streets were narrow and far too long, Gutters were slippery, policemen were strong; The slamming of doors and a sea-going-hack Was my recollections of getting back. The steps were slippery and hard to climb, I rested often, as I had nothing but time, An awkward keyhole and a misplaced chair Informed the folks that I was there. A heated interior and a revolving bed. A sea-sick man with a ""hell"" of a head; And whiskey, beer and booze galore. Were introduced into the bed room floor. And in the morning came bags of ice; So necessary to the life to vice; And when they had soothed my aching brain. Did I swear off, No! I got Soused again
