Harold Lloyd was a master of suspense stunts often involving high flagpoles, window ledges and other places appropriate for slipping feet, clutching hands and general dizziness. By careful study of this set, a visitor sees how an actor can seem to hang over a great abyss. In reality, the ledge is tipped upward; a translucent rear-projection screen adds to the illusion of height, and the "ten-story drop" is really just a few inches!
