This is the first car that ran between El Paso and Ciudad Juarez. (Not a replica.) This was the first piece of equipment by the El Paso original Traction Co., formed by two pioneer El Pasoans, Joseph Magoffin and Zack T. White. "Mandy," the mule, however, is a replica. As good as she was, it would be expecting a lot to ask her to still be here. The El Paso Odd Fellows Lodge have perpetuated her memory in this casting. The car and "Mandy" were placed in San Jacinto Plaza, September 1955.
