On the reverse side is shown some of the handmade items produced by the Wood Whittlers of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, world famous handcrafters. A visit to see them working is something worthwhile. The chest of drawers is of virgin wild cherry, the hound dog is black walnut, comical donkey is white holly wood, the acorn bookends are mahogany, the pear salt and peppers are tulip, the lamp is black walnut, also the jigger drinking set on cherry tray is, left to right, 1. black walnut, 2. white holly, 3. mahogany, 4. tulip, 5. maple, 6. birch. The candleholders are cherry. Colored photographic lampshades are available in mountain scenes.

For nearly 40 years Wiley Oakley has been guiding hunters and tourists through the Smokies-among these being such noted persons as Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and Kate Smith, the singer. He has appeared on the radio and recently has written a book entitled "Roaming with the Roaming Man of the Mountains", which tells of some of his experiences. A natural woodsman, he is never happier than when out among the trees, birds, and wild animals, and he is a familiar and well-loved sight to the visitors to this section.
