It houses the largest American Legion Post in Monroe County and is one of the finest post homes in the nation. Complete facilities are available for Legion activities, and entertainment for legionnaire and their friends is lavishly provided. The Post was named for Wm. W. doud whose was killed in action at Grand-Pre, France, during world War I.
