"The Big Spring" Manistique, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. In the Ojibwa language it means "mirror of heaven". The Spring is 250 across, 42 deep. It pours forth more than 16,000 gal. per min. the water never freezes. Large German trout can be seen from the raft which crosses the spring.
